I was looking for some teacher who could teach Statistics, a subject to be studied in first year IGNOU MA psychology courses. I took a demo class of Amitabh Sir. That was it and my words were "Here ends my search for a stats teacher". He simplifies stats, making so easy that by the end of 3rd class , you feel confident, your fear of stats just vapourises. I have myself taken a class of stats after the course got over.

Statistics is a very interesting topic in Psychology but after not studying for about 20 years, everything was going on top of my head attending the lectures alone. My name is monika and I am an educator. As I joined masters in physcology, I came to know about statistics, and I really got goosebumps seeing the study material. I heard different variations about this subject and I didn't know where to start. One day I saw a message in the study group, and decided to attend the demo session of Mr. Amitabh. The first day I was not that happy with the session, but it was to early for me to decide so I decided to attend second demo sessions, and from then it was a smooth journey for me. The way sir explains and clears doubts is amazing. He puts in lots of efforts in each student and makes sure everyone understands it. It's not like any other class. It's a class where an unknown, scared individual is turned into a confident person who is well-versed with statistics. A big thank you to Amitabh sir who made me confident is the subject I was not at all confident.

I joined MA Psychology to get a degree in Psychology, as a base in psychology, seems a necessity in India, if one is to qualify as a therapist, whereas internationally I’m a qualified therapist with ‘Feeling good’ institute and a coach with, “Woman Centered Coaching Institute”.! I was feeling overwhelmed as to how to negotiate learning, statistics in particular ,and other subjects too. I’m now a learner in a structured way, after more than two and a half decades! It is overwhelming. God has way of finding ways for us when our commitment is 100%! I found Amitabh Sir’s demo link in one of the groups, that got formed quiet magically. I went by instincts and found myself paying up immediately, a fee that I found very reasonable. And Lo and behold, I found myself in the student mould in a matter of few classes and loving it.It was intimidating initially to have other students who were with it, answering in a pitter patter manner.But what made it compelling to be in the class is Sir’s determination and confidence to have all of us score high and teach in a manner that made me fall in love with stats and really enjoy.He is a very patient man and focuses on every one to do better. I believe he is a great resource for any and everyone wanting to master stats. Honestly I just wanted to pass.Now I do want to score at least 80%.Sir brought back my interest to study and to do better!

I am Dr Seema Joshi an eye surgeon by profession and aged 54 years. I decided to join MA (Psychology ) as psychology comes in handy while counselling patients for multiple issues & also in order to learn something new. So far, so good, but my zeal and enthusiasm took a turn downward on encountering STATISTICS and the Ignou book on this subject. “Kahan phas gaye” was my thought. Being a practising doctor, I had never studied mathematics, let alone Statistics after my twelfth standard, 38 years ago!!!! I was wondering how to tackle this horrible subject of statistics, when I heard about Amitabh sir’s statistics class. It seemed like a godsend to me. I contacted sir, saw a demo lecture, and I was promptly in. The best thing I did was to join his class, where he teaches in such a lucid, interactive, simple and carefree way that I have started enjoying statistics and look forward to his classes. My concepts have become crystal clear, and my confidence in statistics has grown so much that I can even explain the concepts to others now. Hats 🎩 off and a standing ovation 👏🏻 to Amitabh sir for his efforts in simplifying the subject and making it so interesting!!! 1. Your Thought process before joining my class.
It was overwhelmed to study after 24 years and math was never my favorite subject in school. In addition to this the Statistics study material looked like Greek and Latin to me. The formulas did not make any sense to me. I knew Statistics is critical in 1st year to do projects in 2nd year. Without help there was no way for me to understand Statistics. My constant thought was “How am I going to study Statistics?” “Will I be able to understand?” “ Will I pass?” this was very stressful.
2. How’s your experience hereafter
When I called Amitabh Sir, he assured that I will score 80% is Statistics even if I had not studied in last 24 years or not good at Math. I knew my capabilities, I set the bar very low for myself. I was not ambitious of scoring any great marks, just passing was enough for me. Amitabh Sir proved it wrong, he changed my beliefs, his teaching method and techniques are pusing me to explore my maximum potential. I was surprised to see I was consistently scoring more than 90% in all the tests he gave during the course. I fell in love with Statistics, solving problems elates me. I only wish I had a teacher like him in my early learning years. I am grateful to Amitabh Sir for helping in believing in myself and making learning easy.

I took up Mapc after 20 yrs of my academics ..I graduated in commerce..in 2001..when I recd the books from IGNOU the first thing that crossed my mind was complete waste of the fees ...this is something I will never be able to complete..I don't know but initially the language of psychology was also like Latin for me.. though I come from a convent school..and when I saw Stats I just could see some big weird formulae and graph tables which just did not seems fimiliar to all that I studied long back.. Than one night I recd a message regarding Amitabhs stats classes..I had already given up but just thought of trying once..In the first class itself he made us all comfortable...I still remember we did Kendalls Tau and I could do it in one go..that was just unexpected..this just made me attend his classes regularly...the sequence in which he took up the chapters made Stats fun to do ..I started looking forward fr these stats classes now ...moreover he took these classes more seriously than us... punctuality 💯 dedication💯and best was his impromptu formulae asking session...A given up soldier raised to fight back..A sincere thanks to Amitabh to help me pursue psychology which I always wished to do ..I would say all credits to my teacher Mr Amitabh...Thanks for all the learning with so much personised concern

Before joining Amitabh Sir’s Statistics class I wasn’t confident about statistics as I hadn’t done the subject in quite a few years. Amitabh sir teaches the kinds of questions we get in exams and how to approach them which helped me boost my confidence. He also conducts regular mock tests and gives lots of homework for us to get comfortable with the concepts. He is very patient with our doubts.

Running 59 notout 💪🏻 But scared of getting bowled out of Staistics😰 Why ? Studied Math only in school in varnacular Skipped in college also Skipped once appearing for exam M.A. 1st year exams out fear of Staistics 😖😣😫😨😰 Thought of dropping😓 Give up on my Dream 😥 There came a savior, an Advt. which said, "I guarantee you n help you will pass with flying colors in Statistics, No matter how how old or young by age and weak or poor you are in calculations, join my class you will gain confidence n guaranteed results" - Mr. Amitabh Karmakar. He meant more than what he assured us. Not only he explained us again n again till each n everyone from his class understood with smile n w/o getting irritated but rather would guess our questions n confusions before we ask. He pushed us hard in varied ways to make us work hard. I know few others who charge high but low on results, instead what Amitabh charges is nothing but gives 101% guaranteed results n infuses tons of confidence n smile in each n every student. Life skills & Motivational speaker a story teller too are like extra top ups 👌 I am confident I would score high n my dream to complete my M.A. thanks to him.🙏🏻👍😊💕

Stats has always been tough. In B Com , I struggled at the most basic levels. The focus was on passing And theory was the saving grace. Now , after Amitabh sir 's class , there is hope 🙂 The classes are structured in a fashion where concepts are explained in tiny digestible bits. Every concept is taught well and then practiced in an ongoing manner till it gets drilled We are pushed to practice formulas till we can speak it in our dreams This class is worth every penny 🙂

Before joining the class i was very confused not able to understand how to prepare and like others have seen youtube video but it increase my confusion and doubts. But after just watching demo video all doubts got cleared and easy to understand in simple way. All the home work given by sir are very helpful it increase our practice and also the best part is after the class we get recording of the lecture it helps lot if one stuck some where they can refer recording anytime as per their convenient time and can do many revision. Also sir make sure the student dont get bored and loose interest he crack funny jokes and also used the formula in most simple n easy way.

I would like to share that I was scared of statistics subject infact I had phobia for statistics till I had not taken classes from Amitabh Sir. I would like to share that the technic he uses to teach is really good, he made me understand statistics in very smooth and made the concept crisp and clear. I am really satisfied with his lectures. Will recommend others to join his lectures.

I enrolled for MA psychology , after a gap of nearly 30 years. I wasn’t aware of statistics till I got my books. They scared me. I did my degrees in science and had no idea about statistics.I was in a fix, went through some online videos but nothing helped. Then ,I came to know about Amitabh sir. I joined his statistics classes. After attending only five classes, I know I can do it. Amitabh sir is an amazing teacher, knowledgeable with good command over his subject. He paces the class just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. He asks questions and gets the students to respond which is both fun and promotes faster learning. You feel pushed to learn and try out new competences and supported in doing so.His teaching method is clear and concise I would highly recommend him to anyone Interested in learning statistics.

When I first joined for M.A Psychology course, I did not know stats is a part of the subjects. When I discovered that it is, I made up my mind, that may be I will fail in one subject and rest somehow I will read, understand and pass. I was okay with this frankly because I have an inherent fear for maths in general. Then I came across this whatsapp message in the group about Amitabh's class, I just joined it instinctively. The 1st class I attended, I just knew somehow I will pass, cos he explained it in simplest way & that itself was a releif. But then as the class proceeded, his style of teaching and the patience of clearing doubts in the class and the homeworks all put together, built up the confidence that not only will I pass, but I can score well too. Mock exams further helped in undersranding how to finish paper within the stipulated time and how exam pressure would feel. I would also want to mention about the method of teaching theory which was purely from understanding and examples point of view and not "mug this up entirely" kind of approach. I absolutely enjoy studying because of this, as its all about understanding concepts clearly and then writing it in your own words. I would highly recommend Amitabh's class to anyone who is willing to enjoy studying statistics as a subject and leave all the fear behind.
